Operational Security (OpSec) is not optional on TorZon Market. It is the only barrier between you and adversaries. Follow this guide to secure your identity, encrypt your communications, and verify your access points.

01. Identity Protection

Compartmentalize your digital life.

Your TorZon Market identity must be completely separate from your real-world identity (clearnet).

  • Username: Create a unique username never used on Reddit, forums, or gaming accounts.
  • Password: Use a randomly generated alphanumeric password of at least 16 characters.
  • Metadata: Scrub all photos of EXIF data before uploading. Never discuss your location, timezone, or weather.
CRITICAL: Never use your real email address or phone number for any recovery options.

02. Anti-Phishing

Verify before you login.

Phishing sites are the #1 cause of account loss. They look identical to the real TorZon Market but steal your credentials.

  • PGP Verification: TorZon signs its main mirror. Always verify the PGP signature of the login page message.
  • Bookmark: Once verified, save the onion link. Never use links from Wikipedia, YouTube, or random forums.
  • Mirror Rotation: Use our Official Mirrors page which is regularly audited.
Enable 2FA immediately upon account creation.

03. Operational Security

Hardening your environment.

Your browser and wallet habits can leak your IP or identity.

  • JavaScript: Set Tor Browser Security Level to "Safest". JavaScript can be used to de-anonymize you.
  • Window Size: Do not maximize your Tor Browser window; this prevents browser fingerprinting.
  • Wallet Hygiene: NEVER send crypto directly from an exchange (Coinbase, Binance) to TorZon. Send to a personal wallet (Monero GUI / Electrum) first.

04. PGP Encryption

Encrypt everything.

TorZon Market admins cannot protect data they can read. Encrypt your shipping address using the vendor's public key BEFORE pasting it into the order form.
